The Artist Cimerrio
The Artists Vision
"With my paintings I would like to inpspire others to love, respect and protect nature."
The painter Cimerrio is a lover of the trees and animales. She was born in the United States and has painted more than 300 paintings during her trip around the world. She has stayed over 20 years in Tamarindo Costa Rica so shes almost a Tica (Costa Rican). She loves Costa Ricas incredible scenery and nice people. Eventhough she was a success in San Jose she decided to give up living in the city to be close to nature where her heart feels happy.
Of Native American, Italian, Irish, Prussian, German, Czechoslovakian, Hungarian descent.... the artist has always been interested in her ancestors and creativity runs in the family. Her great grandfather Charles Cimerrio was a famous painter in Paris France in the early 1890's.
Inspired and encouraged by her parents to follow her path of creativity... the artist translated two important Mayan prayer documents beginning at age 24 and this lead her to become a Mayan astrologist. She studied Mayan science and painted at the sacred sites in Guatemala. She spent time painting in the Amazon river of Peru and doing spiritual work with natives at age 30.
She studied Balinesian painting with Ngurah KK, one of the last living representatives of the famous Balinese painters in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia, 2004. She also painted and spent time at the sacred temples in Bali.
